In the ICU

The move to the ICU around 11pm went smoothly and Harlan is sleeping now. They wheeled his bed all the way to the new room so he didn’t have to be lifted or anything.

The current plan is for his nurse here to continue treatment unchanged for the time being (applying creams and eye drops every two hours), and adjust accordingly after consulting with the burn unit and dermatologists.

The only change to his medications so far was to switch from morphine every 2 hours to a continuous drip to keep him more comfortable and better ease his pain when the creams are applied.

Everything is going okay.
